Great news for all DK_BBQ's: We have an addition to the family!
Epic 1337ness, dedicated teamplay, great companionship on the battlefield and an excellent sense of humour makes SeFyr a perfect fit for the exclusive club of gamers known as DK_BBQ.
Becoming a Full Member of DK_BBQ is not an easy task:
We do not accept just anyone who will pay our outrageous membership fees, and there is a reason why you will often find a DK_BBQ playing on your server in the Top 5. We strive for the best, and only accept the best 
SeFyr has more than proved his worth, and now, after a (way too) long trial period, he can now throw away the small lettering spelling "dk_bbq", and exchange them with the capital lettered version of our unique trademark!

Dagen er en dag som mange andre... Campere sidder og hygger sig i bakkerne med kaffen og citronmånen, n00bs bliver nådesløst slagtet på gaderne, CG-whores leger nytårsaften, og bygninger styrter i grus.
Pludselig skilles skyerne brat!
Et tordenskrald brager.
En skarp lysstråle skyder fra himlen, og blænder en lille skare morderiske og slangeædende DK_BBQ Full Members.
BBQ’ere, evigt på jagt efter det næste flag, efter den næste MCOM.
...Med et krøllet smil, selvfølgelig
Lysstrålen forsvinder, så pludseligt som den kom, og på den svedne plet, den har efterladt, står en splinterny DK_BBQ klon.
Lige så ambitiøs som de andre i slænget.
Lige så bevidst om klanens umættelige behov for at vinde på den flinke måde.

Han udbryder rutineret et ”Eta prachivnikaaa!” på klingende Sibirien-dialekt, og joiner BBQ-squad’en.
Fra nu af er han Full Member.
Han minder sig selv om, at der ikke er nogen acceptabel vej væk fra det store DK_BBQ tag, og skuer selvsikkert ud i horisonten, på jagt efter nye flag og dogtags.

DK_BBQ LAN - ftw!

Hi all,
DK_BBQ's major annual LAN event has just been wrapped up, and we are (hopefully) all back safely. DK_BBQ W33dpower was the most generous host of the weekend's party, where we had an enormously good time!
Games played were a.o. Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Command & Conquer Generals, Duke Nukem Forever and - obviously! - Battlefield Bad Company 2. Lots of excellent food was provided and prepared, with homemade burgers, full continental breakfast, midnight BBQ (ha!) and enough greasy Pringles to keep an ocean liner's engine going for a year 
Le Mans happened to happen this weekend as well, so BBQ's needing a short break from the gaming could chill back and watch some fast cars instead.
That's what your membership fees ALSO provides, folks!
I am sure that everyone was happy to see each other again (as always) and that we have all had a fantastic weekend!

The other day, Man of War asked us to play an impromptu match with them, as one of their teams were looking for a challenge. Although we have not played a BFBC2-match since... Well, a long time ago, we were able to rustle up a few sleepy BBQ warriors, lazy and fat from feeding off FFA-servers.
It was good fun, and we were happy to see that although the old, fleabitten BBQ-dog is old and fleabitten, we can still bite with (a couple of) our teeth
Once a BBQ-warrior, always a filthy, fat, cockeyed, easygoing and fun-loving BBQ-warrior!
Thanks a million to the MoW-guys for asking to play with us - we are honoured, and yo - your server rocks!

Hi everyone!
What! No updates on the DK_BBQ website since New Year 2010/11?? Has our beloved clan, our online family, ceased to exist? Are we completely dead in teh water?
Well, of course not 
Having left the Battlefield 2142-scene at the Clanbase #2 spot, we started looking for new places to use and develop our favourite skill: Structured teamwork in strategic FPS.
After a short-lived and disappointing flirt with Battlefield Bad Company 2 as a ladder/competition game, we have decided to lay low and wait out the long, grey period until Battlefield 3 makes its entry on the scene.
In the meantime, we keep our skills sharp by terrorising others on different FFA-servers; Our choice usually fall on Danish servers, such as T-Birds, 99/Oldmen and ManOfWar, so if you want to play alongside us, look for us there. You are also welcome to play against us, although this is neither supported nor recommended by DK_BBQ.
Among other games played at the moment are Starcraft 2, WoW and Supreme Commander 2. Some of the guys are mumbling about another exciting MMORPG, but it's very underground at this time..!
Our principles of good friendship, good teamwork, "first-on-the-spot/no-camping" and absolutely no cheating or exploiting are still firmly intact.

When DK_BBQ's are not in battle, we usually enjoy a couple of drinks at the local bar.
